So that we may continue to meet the high standards of our shoppers, we require the following guidelines be met prior to accepting consignments. We reserve the right to not accept any consignment for any reason in our sole discretion.

All consignments are taken by Appointment Only-- Tues. & Wed. 10:30 to 4:00. We reserve two appointments on Saturdays for those that work during the week. We ask that you bring in no more than 25 items (on hangars or neatly folded in shopping bags) per visit so that they can be processed in a timely manner. Special circumstances? Please give us a call. We will do our best to accommodate you.

Clothing:

In order to continue offering exceptional clothes at competitive prices it has become necessary for us to limit our inventory. For your consigning convenience, we have compiled a list of some brands we will no longer be accepting. Should we feel a need to include others in the future, we will update this list as needed. NO Cherokee, KRU, Xhilaration, Covington, Mossimo, Route 66, Basic Editions, LEI, Faded Glory, Carters, Circo, Healthtex, Sonoma, Simply Basic, Kid Connection, Lee, Levi, Old Navy. NO plain tees, turtlenecks, sweatshirts from GAP, Old Navy etc. To prepare for your appointment:

a.) Ensure that all clothing is clean and has been freshly laundered
b.) Ensure that all clothing is "gently used" and free of stains, rips, tears, fading, pilling, missing buttons, broken zippers and obvious wear.
c.) Ensure that all clothing is fashionable and season appropriate
d.) Ensure that all footwear is nearly new in condition
e.) Maternity items must be true maternity wear and not large sizes.

We only accept current season items and current styles. We do not accept clothing with locations printed or embroidered on them like I Love Lake George.

Toys:

a.) Ensure that all toys are clean, safe, in working condition and not missing pieces so as to render it unusable.
b.) Ensure that books have not been torn or written upon.
c.) Ensure larger toys are in good repair and safe.
d.) Consignee does not sell "stuffed animals".

Baby Equipment:

(PLEASE CALL AHEAD FOR AVAILABLE SPACE) (IF YOU HAVE WARRANTY/INSTRUCTION SHEETS, PLACE IN ZIPLOC BAG)

a.) Baby furniture and equipment must meet U.S. safety standards and be clean, complete and in "nearly-new" condition. PLEASE CLEAN AND DISINFECT ALL PARTS OF THE EQUIPMENT AND ALSO CHECK THAT EQUIPMENT IS NOT MORE THAN 5 YEARS OLD.
b.) Consignee does not accept car seats.

Furniture:

a.) Small furniture items may be considered for consignment but shall be transported by and at the risk of the consignor. Larger furniture can be sold through photograph postings.
b.) Items must be free of cracks, chips or scratches.
