The Feed Me Fresh committee is always looking for volunteers to help with the event-- commitments can be as much as one hour or many and could include varied tasks such as calling farms, stamping envelopes, canning jams and jellies for sale at the event, soliciting sponsors, or simply sending fun friends' names for the event list. Even if you just love to set up or decorate, come the day of the event and help us get ready-- any help lightens the load. This is a great committee filled with working moms, stay at home moms, and interesting people looking to do "just a little something" fun and worthwhile! Email your interest to: FeedMeFresh@EssentialMom.com and we'll get you in the loop!

Check out our story!

Since 1971, Mount Kisco Day Care Center has made a commitment to the care and education of families and children by providing quality child care, preschool, and after-school programs. The Center serves children regardless of their ability to pay, with over half of our students receiving scholarship assistance at some level, benefiting children from all ethnic, social and cultural backgrounds. MKDCC works hard to utilize the newest and most exciting developments in the child care field as well as providing cutting edge, innovative programs in support of child development such as our collaborative program with Family Services of Westchester's senior day program, our family literacy program, and Edible Education program which was developed by The Flying Pig through their Edible Education Initiative which combines nutritionists and farmers with farm fresh food and gardening practices in order to increase the level of appreciation for healthy foods and healthy choices for our families. Together, these programs provide an environment unlike any other in the community.
