2007 Rippowam Cisqua School Summer Programs, www.rcsny.org

Rippowam Cisqua School offers four diverse camps for children ages 3-14 on two campuses located in Bedford and Mount Kisco, New York.

The RCS Cisqua Camp, directed by Jennifer Ortiz and Cindy Berisic, is located in Mount Kisco, New York and features a six-week camp with weekly enrollments and various themes available for children ages 3-11. The themes are Animal Adventures, Carnival, Circus and Golf Camp.

In addition to Cisqua teachers, the following experts will be joining the individual sessions: animal authorities Chris Evers of Animal Embassy and Bill Robinson of Wildlife Lectures, Jerry Hornak the Magician, trained professionals from Cirque du Jour and PGA professionals from Total Golf Adventures.

The distinctive RCS Summer Arts Program, directed by Keith Robellard, is located in Bedford, New York and features a six-week camp with weekly enrollments and individual classes in a variety of subjects for children ages 9-14. This summer there will be instruction in Theater, Music, Fine Art, Photography, Video and Creative Writing.

The program is designed to allow students to express themselves and experiment with new ideas. Students learn new processes, improve skills, and work with new media and styles.

The RCS Sports Camp, directed by Thomas Morrissey, is located in Bedford, New York and features a two-week camp with weekly enrollments for children ages 8-14. The camps offered this summer are basketball and soccer.

The RCS Sports Camp offers an opportunity for young athletes to develop their abilities in a fun, skills-based environment. A 6 to 1 player to coach ratio gives children the opportunity to receive personal instruction in order to enhance skills and develop meaningful relationships with their coaches and peers.

The unique RCS Rippin' Trips, directed by Mike Topchik, features outdoor adventure trips as well as a design your own trip option for children ages 10 to 14. The offerings are: a spring break trip to Devil's Garden, New Mexico, paddling in Flagstaff & Bigelow Mountains in Maine, white water canoeing on the Delaware, canoeing in Friendship, Maine as well as sailing, canoeing, paint ball and camping during Adventure Week.

This outdoor adventure program enables campers to embark on a personal and group journey in which they learn to appreciate the natural world, develop new skills, enhance their personal relationships and cultivate new experiences.
